Aaron Michlewitz, originally scheduled for tomorrow, June 5th, 2 Atlantic Ave, has been postponed to Thursday June 21, 2012 from 4pm-6pm at Starbucks, 2 Atlantic Ave. The Rep’s office explains that the health care cost containment debate is now expected to run into tomorrow evening.

News from the Office of State Representative Aaron Michlewitz (D-North End):

In an effort to more effectively reach out to his constituents, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz will once again be holding a series of coffee hours within the Third Suffolk District this Spring. Starting on the morning of Saturday, May 19th Representative Michlewitz will be having coffee in local establishments and inviting his constituents to come and join him to discuss pressing matters, specific legislation or neighborhood concerns.

“When I first ran for office I promised to be as accessible as possible to my constituents. With these coffee hours I have a chance to listen to the people that elected me and hear what they have to say,” said Michlewitz. “This job is about more than sitting behind a desk. It’s about meeting people in the district and hearing what they have to say, and how they believe I can better represent them.”

The first of these informal coffee hours will be held on Saturday, May 19th at My Cousin’s Place, located at 396 Hanover Street from 10:00am-12:00pm followed by Tuesday, June 5, 2012 Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Starbucks, located at Two Atlantic Avenue from 4:00pm-6pm. All our welcome to come and meet their State Representative and discuss any matters that come to mind.
