Historical Preservation Tour Series Features Visits to Notable West End Sites
The West End Museum presents a series of excursions related to
The Preservation
Movement Then and Now, an exhibit running at the Museum through May 12
in partnership with Historic New England. Four different tours give life to the historical preservation movement in New England with visits to noteworthy and meaningful sites that represent the surviving connections between the pre-urban renewal and present-day West End. Locations include including
Otis House,
Old West Church,
St. Joseph’s Church and more.
Local experts from the West End Museum and Historic New England will serve as tour guides. Each tour costs $15 ($7 for West End Museum members).
