Eliot School’s “Evening for Education” Fundraiser November 10 & 17

The North End’s Eliot School will host its 10th annual “Evening for Education” on November 10 at il Molo and November 17 at Monica’s Trattoria, both from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This is the first year an Evening for Education will be held on two nights, to allow more community members to participate. The first evening, on Sunday, November 10, is hosted by Donato Frattaroli and his son Donato Frattaroli Junior at il Molo. Purchase tickets here.

The second evening, Sunday November 17, is hosted by Frankie and Pat Mendoza at their restaurant Trattoria di Monica. Purchase tickets here.

Evening for Education marks the beginning of the Eliot School’s annual fundraising and targets a specific need at the school. This year’s theme is to expand the offerings of the Eliot Play. Innovate. Create. (EPIC) methodology that ensures the cognitive development of students through play-based learning initiatives.

The Eliot is also developing a partnership with NuVu Studios in Cambridge. A full-time NuVu Innovation Fellow will be on site daily at the Eliot to facilitate studio-based programs, project-based curriculum, and manage the fab lab maker spaces that are housed in each of the three school buildings.
