The Joe Andruzzi Foundation, a nonprofit committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for New England cancer patients and their families by contributing financial support when it is needed most, partnered with Boston Harbor Cruises to take roughly 45 people impacted by cancer on Codzilla on June 11.
It is the 10th consecutive year the two organizations have combined to brighten the day of cancer patients and their families. In addition to the boat ride, former New England Patriot, three-time Super Bowl champion, and Co-founder of JAF Joe Andruzzi, along with his wife Jen, President and CEO of the organization, took pictures with the families and allowed everyone to wear his championship rings.
In JAF’s 11 years, it has raised $6.3 million to help New England families battle the non-treatment costs of cancer such as mortgage payments, rent, car payments, and household bills, when they need it most.
