A centennial Mass commemorating the 100th St. Anthony’s Feast was held on Saturday, June 15 at Saint Leonard’s Church in Boston’s North End.
The Mass was celebrated by Bishop Robert Hennessey. Following the Mass, a reception took place on Endicott Street sponsored by St. Anthony’s Society. Photographer Gerri Palladino was on hand to capture this milestone occasion.
A special thank you to Saint Anthony Society for hosting a wonderful complimentary block party after the Centennial Mass on Saturday, it was so nice to see new and old neighborhood friends out celebrating the centennial year of Saint Anthony! Looking forward to the 100th feast in August.
Big shout out and THANK YOU to St. Anthony Society for their continuous generosity to the neighborhood by throwing one helluva block party to kick off their 100th Anniversary Centennial. Plenty of FREE food, cold beverages, desserts, live music and a bouncy house for the children. Before the party, a beautiful Mass was said by Bishop Hennessey and then he blessed the Club and their members . It was an old school get together . VIVA
