Don Scott has been a Bostonian for 20 years, but has always been from New England. He has worked at Lincoln Wharf, 357 Commercial Street, for 18 of those years.

Don has made a hobby of planting the flowers in front and back of Lincoln Wharf and totally enjoys this voluntary chore. Before Lincoln Wharf, he was the General Manager of the Famous Downtown Filene’s Basement. His daughter picked up his love for flowers, and now owns “Roses And Thistle Flower Market” in Marblehead !!!
The monthly Good Neighbor award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and presented to local businesses, organizations and property owners that contribute to making our neighborhood beautiful and consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash.

Congratulations Don! Your work in creating the fabulous garden in the back of Lincoln Wharf makes it delightful to overlook the garden from my Union Wharf condo windows and balcony. You are most deserving of this award. Thank you for all your hard work in making a piece of heaven on the waterfront in the Northend.
Don is a neighborhood treasure! Beloved figure around the Waterfront!
