Neighborhood Council April 8 Agenda: Construction of New Mixed-Use Building at 149 Salem St. (Formerly Prince Postale); Community Chat on Climate Ready Boston

The North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street.

At this month’s meeting, the Council will hear a petition for a new mixed-use building to be constructed at the corner of 149 Salem Street and 71 Prince Street, which is the former location of Prince Postale. There will also be a community chat about Climate Ready Boston. See the full agenda posted below.

  1. Lots of buildings in the North End that seem to stop short of 10 apartments. Seems to me it’s because they won’t have to put in an affordable unit if they stick to 9. Thanks a lot, developers/owners.
