African-American Patriots Freedom Trail Tours Celebrate Black History Month

Join the Freedom Trail Foundation’s African-American Patriots Tours on Saturdays and Sundays in February to learn about and celebrate the African-American patriots who played a vital role in the start of the American Revolution in Boston and in the formation of our country.

Revolutionary figures such as Crispus Attucks, Phillis Wheatley, Prince Hall, Peter Salem and others will come to life during these 90-minute walking tours that zigzag through the Freedom Trail.

Led by 18th-century costumed guides, tours will depart at 12:45 p.m. from the Boston Common Visitor Information Center beginning February 2 and continuing every weekend in February. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $8 for children under 12 years of age.

Can’t make it the Freedom Trail during Black History Month? The African-American Patriots Tours are available year round for schools or private groups by reservation. Learn more at thefreedomtrail.org/tours/african-american-patriots.
