NEMPAC & Boston Landmarks Orchestra Present the Messiah Concert December 12

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) and Boston Landmarks Orchestra co-present the fourth annual Handel’s Messiah, Part I Concert this Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 7 p.m. at St. Leonard’s Church (320 Hanover Street) in Boston’s North End. This concert is free and open to the public.Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for RSVP ticket holders and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. for general admission. The church is handicap accessible.

To welcome the holiday season, internationally acclaimed Music Director Christopher Wilkins takes the podium this year to direct this performance featuring the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, One City Choir, NEMPAC Youth Choir, and Professional Soloists.

Daniel Mahoney is the Conductor working with the One City Choir. Alexandra Dietrich is the Conductor for the Youth Choir made up of students from the local North End Elementary schools, the St. John School and the Eliot K-8 Innovation School, who will perform a special prelude to the concert. The Professional Soloists will feature Teresa Wakim (soprano), Emily Marvosh (contralto), Ethan DePuy* (tenor), and Junhan Choi* (bass). (*Denotes NEMPAC artist or music faculty.)
