Annual Boston Tuba Christmas Concert at Faneuil Hall November 24

Join local residents, tourists and tuba fans at Faneuil Hall’s 33rd annual Boston Tuba Christmas Concert on Saturday, November 24 at 2 p.m.

Over 150 tubas players will serenade the crowd with holiday classics at this free, public concert, presented by the Harvey Phillips Foundation.

At the start of the concert, Postmaster Nick Francescucci of the U.S. Postal Service will unveil the Sparkling Holidays stamp with the help of Eric Goode, organizer of Tuba Christmas. Other events happening at Faneuil Hall Marketplace beginning on November 24 are listed below.

Mitten Tree – Through January 1 visitors are welcome to hang a pair of new mittens or gloves on the Mitten Tree for those less fortunate.

Selfies with Santa – On Saturdays through December 22 take a selfie with Santa as he strolls through the Marketplace and visits different merchants.

Photo Contest – Through December 22 visitors can win a 4-pack of tickets to upcoming shows in Boston, including A Charlies Brown Christmas, Cirque Dreams Holidaze, Urban Nutcracker, American Girl Live and Sheer Madness by taking a photo of themselves at the Blink! tree and posting it on Instagram with the hashtag #blinkBoston.

Gift Wrapping in the Rotunda – Throughout the holidays on Saturdays and Sundays there will be gift wrapping in the Rotunda with donations made to the Greater Boston Food Bank, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Children’s Hospital and Pitching in for Kids.
