This Sunday, September 9, during both our 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship services and in celebration of the start of the new school year, children and students (of all ages) are invited to bring their backpack, lunch box, or other symbol of school to Old North Church for a special blessing.

We’ll invite you forward in the middle of each service to have your backpacks blessed and to offer our love and support as you begin a new year of learning. All are welcome!

The Old North Church hosted its annual brass polishing party in the church parish house on Salem Street in Boston’s North End.
