As our school year comes to a close, we want to reflect back and highlight our favorite celebrations and thank our collaborative community for their support in celebrating our students success.
In the last weeks of school the Eliot had its 11th annual Field Day. This is a student and staff favorite, as we have the opportunity to gather together as a community to continue the tradition of sport, teamwork, collaboration and celebration.
To accommodate our growing student body, we have expanded this celebration into two dates that were divided up by grade. Monday, June 18th was Blue and White Day for grades 5-8 and Wednesday, June 20th Field Day is for students in Kinder – Grade 4. Both events took place at Langone Field and provide the perfect opportunity for our community to spend time together outside of the classroom.
Both days wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and support provided by our powerful partners at Rafi Properties. Collin Yip and his staff helped support our students in so many ways, but to have them join on field day was truly so special. Spending time engaging with our students made their day.
As we send our students off for their summer vacation, we can’t help but feel an enormous sense of gratitude and appreciation that our school is surrounded by such a supportive community.
