The North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) elected a new slate of officers for the 2014-2015 term at its annual meeting on Thursday, October 9, 2014.  Outgoing NEWRA President, Jim Salini, introduced each of the nominees who made brief statements. Faced with conflicting views from the two neighborhood groups, the Boston Licensing Board granted Sophia Anderson a fortune teller permit to operate at 215 Hanover Street.
