My wonderful North End friends and I celebrating Maria LaBella (Galante’s) 50th birthday in 1992. Although I was not from the North End, these ladies made me feel like I belonged, like I was a true North Ender! I will never forget their kindness and love, Carol Sciucco (RIP), Marie LaBella Galante, Emily Piccolo, Marie Scapicchio, Maggie Troiano and me, Leslie Swor.
