So Tired Teens Can Sleep In, Boston School Committee Votes To Make Classes Start Later
The Boston School Committee had a unanimous vote this past Wednesday night to approve a new systemwide schedule to make classes start later. The new schedule has most high schools starting at or after 8 a.m., allowing tired teenagers the opportunity to sleep in, WBUR has the full story.

12:00PM “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” for charity. Join WZLK-FM in Faneuil Hall as a number of organizations get together for charity. The event will feature a blood drive with the American Red Cross, photos with Santa, entertainment by Greater Boston School of Dance and Life of the Party, and toy bins set up for donations to the New England Patriots Toy Drive.
12:00PM STEAM Saturday at North End Library. Join the North End Library every other Saturday at 25 Parmenter Street for STEAM activities. The activities are best suited for Children ages 6 and younger, see additional details.
Sunday, December 10:
12:00PM Christmas Program for North End Kids at St. Agrippina Club. Join the Saint Agrippina Society at 459 Hanover Street for their annual Christmas program for North End kids (only), see more event details here.
5:00PM Christmas Concert at Old North Church. Join the Old North Church at 193 Salem Street as they celebrate the season with their annual Christmas Concert. All are welcome and a $10 donation is requested at the door.
