The following incidents were highlighted on the Boston Police District A-1 police journal log for the North End / Waterfront area.
Aggravated Assault
10/24/17 2:30pm
Victim reports he was approached at Commercial St. and Lewis St. by an unknown suspect after leaving his office. At this time the suspect attempted to assault the victim who shielded his advances with his suitcase. Suspect walked away with victim following him, a short distance away the suspect brandished a knife then fled on foot. Detectives to follow up on the incident.
Larceny from Motor Vehicle

Victim reports 2013 Subaru Forester was parked on Stillman St. an unknown person broke the rear passenger window and stole a bag containing a lego set and sleeping bag and also a tire compressor from the vehicle.

Stillman St. victim’s 2013 BMWX3 had the front window broken and removed from vehicle were a backpack, laptop, iPad, sunglasses, headphones, medical equipment and misc. supplies.

Victim reports an unknown male suspect removed her laundry from a Salem St. laundromat. The laundromat has video of suspect leaving with the victim’s laundry.
Old adage, If they can see, they’ll steal it.
