In observance of “One Boston Day” the children of the Nazzaro Center wrote letters, made thank you cards and posters, and baked cookies for our local fire department on Hanover Street. Pictured above is the group presenting all these gifts to members of the Hanover St. Hook and Ladder in the North End in recognition and thanks for all their services to the city. “We feel so safe and are so proud to be under their protection 24/7,” remarked Nazzaro teen Steven Griffin, and that sentiment goes for every member of the Nazzaro Center. Thank you to all our fire departments, police departments, and first responders throughout the city of Boston.
