5:30pm Chili Cup at Ned Devine’s. The 8th Annual Chili Cup hosted by Ned Devine’s, a friendly competition between local Boston restaurants to raise money for Community Work Services. The 2017 Chili Cup Champ will be chosen by you! May the best chili win! Tickets here.

3:30pm LeggiAMO Insieme. The volunteer group Nati per Leggere of Greater Boston, in collaboration with I AM Books presents LeggiAMO Insieme, full immersion Italian story time and play. For children 4-7 and their parents, this event is free and open to the public. [I AM Books, 189 North Street].

Just when we thought the North End was bad with parking space savers during snow storms, other neighborhoods resort to city hall, not just threats or vandalism. Space savers lead to thousands of complaints during the last storm. 52 complaints came from the North End, Dorchester had 585 complaints while South Boston boasted 481, The Boston Globe has more on the complaints from space savers.

According to data gathered on Valentine’s Day in 2016, this list of restaurants encompasses the most popular restaurants for a memorable date. The North End was well represented with Bricco, Mamma Maria, Bacco, and Lucia making the list of top 10, Boston.com has the full compilation.
