Obituary: Joseph “Joe Cool” Buceta of Boston’s North End

Joseph “Joe Cool” Buceta, age 60, of Boston’s North End, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Dina (Vaccari) Buceta of Boston; Devoted father of Natalie Buceta of Reading and the late Nicholas Buceta; Dear brother of Anthony Buceta of Boston; Loving son of Josephine (Lopez) Buceta of Boston and the late Jose Buceta; and dear nephew of John A. Lopez of Malden. He also leaves many cherished cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Lifelong member of the Madonna Della Cava Society.

His funeral will be from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St., Boston on Mon., February 13th at 9am followed by a funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Sq. at 10am. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
