Police Blotter: Christmas Eve Bank Robbery, Liquor Purchase, Stolen Smartphone

Robbery /Bank

12/24/16  ~  11:12am
A male suspect robbed US currency from a Hanover Street bank. The suspect passed a note to the teller then fled on foot with the money. Detectives to follow up.

Larceny from Building

01/03/17  ~  5:15pm

Employee (victim) reports that a known male suspect stole her backpack from a Salem Street restaurant. The backpack was in the common corridor where all the servers keep their purses. The backpack contained US currency, bank cards and personal belongings. The bank informed the victim that the bank card was being used at a Hanover Street liquor store. Employee’s made their way to the store and witnessed the suspect inside making the purchase. The suspect fled on foot and the backpack was recovered in the rear of a Hanover Street building. Detectives to follow up.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle

01/05/17  ~  7:35pm
Victim reports that he left his Jeep with the valet of a Hanover Street restaurant who parked it in the Parcel 7 garage. When the vehicle was returned to the victim his Samsung smart phone was missing. Detective’s to follow up with video surveillance from the garage.
