Luigi Areniello of Boston’s North End, surrounded by his loving family on January 2, 2017. He was born in Lapio, Italy. Beloved husband of Anna (Ferrante) Areniello. Devoted father of Claudia Areniello of Lynn, Tizziano Areniello and his wife Rhonda of Winthrop, Crestina Perez de Alderete and Gioena Areniello both of the North End. Adored grandfather of Savahna, James, Louis, Michael, Ariana, Justine, Lia, Ava and Tizziano Jr. Dear brother of six siblings and uncle of Guiseppe Areniello. Member of Local 1552 Meat Cutters Union.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 9-10am in Sacred Heart Church, North Sq, Boston with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10am. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in Luigi’s memory may be made to: MGH pedi hematology/oncology, Yawkey 8B, 55 Fruit St, Boston Ma 02114.
