Photo Gallery: Friends of Christopher Columbus Park Gala

The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park held their annual gala last weekend. The event raises money for park events and infrastructure, such as the iconic blue trellis lights. In honor of the group’s 15th anniversary, State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz presented a poster citation from the State House, proclaiming FOCCP as the best friends group in the Commonwealth. Also attending were State Senator Joe Boncore and City Councilor Sal LaMattina who read a congratulatory citation from the Boston City Council.
