End of Daylight Saving Time on Sunday – “Fall Back” One Hour

Sunrise Photo by Jean Eisenstadt

It is that time of year, to “Fall Back” with the end of Daylight Saving Time (and gain one hour of sleep). The official change is a 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 when the correct time will be 1 a.m.

Public safety officials recommend using the daylight savings change as a reminder to replace batteries in smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors.

For those planning ahead, Daylight Saving begins again on Sunday, March 12, 2017 when we will “Spring Ahead.”

  1. Falling back right before election day. I feel that it is statement regardless of how it turns out.
