Police Blotter: iPhone Swap, Smashed Windshield, Ex-Boyfriends!

Residential Breaking & Entering

08/02/16  ~  4:22pm
Female victim reports she returned home to her  North Street apartment and found her former boyfriend inside. Victim states she thought the male suspect had returned all of the apartment keys to her but apparently kept a set of keys. The victim asked the suspect to leave and he refused, Police Officer’s on scene arrested suspect for Breaking & Entering. The set of keys on suspect returned to victim.

Larceny

07/27/16  ~  9:30pm
Victim reports an unknown person had taken his iPhone 6s and switched it with a faulty iPhone 6s matching the same description. The victim further stated that he was trying to sell his phone to the unknown suspect and had been meeting via text messages. The two individuals met on Prince Street for the sale and the switch was made, the suspect fled on foot with the victim’s identical iPhone 6s after declining to purchase it.

Vandalism

07/30 -08/01/16  ~  11:00pm – 5:00pm
A victim reports that he parked his 2014 Jeep Wrangler at the corner of Fleet Street and Hanover Street. An unknown person smashed the front windshield and damaged the front passenger side quarter panel.
