A female suspect was arrested after she stole money from the cash register and a handbag from a Salem Street hair salon.

Hanover Street store reports an unknown male suspect entered the store and brandished a knife. At this time the clerk ran into the office and the suspect removed cash from the register and fled on foot.
This kind of thing never happened years back in the North End~~~what is happening ? How very awful~~luckily no one was hurt !!!
With beggars,tourists ,junkies and thieves,I’m surprised there hasn’t been more crime.
Janet, You are so right. The Crime is getting worse & worse & the Mayor, along with the Police make very light of these
incidents. It always has to be a drastic incident before they step up to the plate. The only thing the City cares about is the
Revenue the No. End brings in. What a difference between Boston & N.Y.C. Police.
