“Black Rose Day” was celebrated on Wednesday, May 4th in the City of Boston in honor of the Irish pub’s 40th anniversary.

Mayor Walsh’s top attorney Eugene O’Flaherty was on hand to make the official proclamation with Michael Glynn, owner of The Black Rose.

Over 200 friends, family, employees past and present, and loyal customers turned out for the celebration.

The Celtic Clan played and the Guinness flowed.
