Wednesday, February 10

3:00pm Downtown Waterfront MHP Committee Meeting
The next MHP Advisory Committee Meeting will update on the planning initiative and present materials from prior meetings, as well as copies of regulations specific to Municipal Harbor Plans and Chapter 91.

6:00pm Stormy Weather Film at North End Branch Library [25 Parmenter Street]
“Stormy Weather” (1943) The relationship between an aspiring dancer and a popular songstress provides a retrospective of the great African American entertainers of the early 1900s. Starring: Lena Horne, Bill Robinson, Cab Calloway, Katherine Dunham and Fats Waller. Directed by: Andrew Stone. Runtime of 68 minutes.

6:00pm Wine & Chocolate Pairing at Old North
Why wait until Valentine’s Day to celebrate your love (of chocolate)? Join us at Old North Church and enjoy four chocolate and wine pairings, featuring our very own colonial chocolate products from Captain Jackson’s Historic Chocolate Shop! To keep the event intimate, tickets are limited.

6:30pm Friends of the NE Library Meeting
Located at 25 Parmenter Street, this ground works to create public support for expanding programs; to intensify community awareness and use of the library.

11:00am Getting Started with Android Smartphones at North End Branch Library [25 Parmenter Street]
AARP Smartphone Workshop for beginners: The AARP (American Association of Retired People) Tek program will help you make the most of your mobile devices. Devices will not be provided, so please bring your Android smartphone. The event is free, register online.

7:00pm NEWRA Monthly Meeting – Nazzaro Center, 30 North Bennet Street

RUFF Feedback in the Park at DeFilippo Dog Park [Gassy Flights]
Feedback in the park (Weather dependent) – RUFF’s Board members will be on hand to share plans for the dog park and answer any questions or concerns members may have.
