If you are looking for a quiet space in the middle of the often too-busy holiday season, join us for the Candlelit Labyrinth Peace Walk on Sunday, December 20 from 5-7pm at Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway, between Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Christopher Columbus Park.
You may walk to the center of the labyrinth at your own pace, pause for a moment or two for reflection in the center and walk back out on the same path. The labyrinth is meant to allow time for personal reflection and insight. Given the time of the year, bundle up tightly and wear warm clothing to fully enjoy the experience!
“This Candlelit Labyrinth Peace Walk provides participants an opportunity to slow down and reflect on where they are on their life journey and to walk in union with others as we all hope for peace and calm in this busy season and chaotic world,” said Beth Mace, President and Co-Founder of the Labyrinth Guild of New England.
Following your candlelit walk, tie a ribbon with your wish on the Wishing Tree, celebrating an ancient tradition, and enjoy fellowship and a hot cider, with thanks to the Millennium Bostonian Hotel.
Also, enjoy Blink!, the free light and sound show at Faneuil Hall Marketplace that runs every half hour beginning at 4:30pm, ride the Carousel near the Park on the Greenway, and visit Christopher Columbus Park and the North End.
Sponsored by the Labyrinth Guild of New England, the Candlelit Labyrinth Peace Walk is an initiative of the Friends of Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway in collaboration with the Millennium Bostonian Hotel, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
