North End natives, Rob and Dave Gomes, received the Fantasy Player of the Year award at the first annual Globies, a new sports awards program sponsored by the Boston Globe. The awards are selected by the Globe’s sports editorial team and were celebrated earlier in October at the House of Blues with many of Boston’s sports stars including David Ortiz and Rob Gronkowski.
Last Fall, Dave and Rob Gomes won the grand prize in the DraftKings Millionaire Maker game.
