Seniors at the ABCD North End/West End Neighborhood Service Center (NE/WE NSC) enjoyed a gorgeous, fun and sun-filled day out at Salem recently, before the rapid change to crisp fall weather.
Nearly four dozen seniors attended, accompanied by NE/WE NSC staff and volunteers. It was a scenic drive to the ocean and everyone lunched at Finz Restaurant to enjoy a feast of chicken, fish, and greens. There was plenty of time to relax, shop, and enjoy one another’s company and conversation. Several daring seniors dove into history and did a tour of the Salem Witch Museum.
The NE/WE NSC is hard at work brainstorming future trips, which may include Cape Cod and farmers’ markets.

The trip would not have been possible without the generous support of Senator Sal N. DiDomenico, Representative Jay Livingstone, and City Councilor Josh Zakim, who sponsored the bus service provided by Yankee Bus Line. The NE/WE NSC thanks you for caring so much about the constituents you serve and enabling them to have a rejuvenating, educational, and interesting day and break out of their day-to-day routine.
