The Janet Echelman aerial net LED sculpture will rise 365 feet in the air this Sunday morning, May 3rd over the Rose Kennedy Greenway in the Fort Channel Parks, across from the Intercontinental Hotel between Congress and Pearl Streets.
The public is invited to watch the process starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday with a brief tour and talk at 10 a.m by Charlie McCable, Programs Director.
Street closures will begin at 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 3rd and could last through 9 p.m. The roads along Atlantic Avenue and Purchase Street will be closed during the installation so the cranes can connect the sculpture to the surrounding buildings. Exit 23 on I-93 South will also be closed.
