St. Lucy Society Sponsors Perkins School Annual Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, March 28, 2015, members from the St. Lucy Society headed out to the Perkins School for the Blind to attend their Annual Easter Egg hunt.

There were many “beeping” Easter Eggs hidden throughout the school gym and auditorium. The children had to listen for the beeping in order to find the Easter eggs. Due to the weather, the event was held indoors.

It was something to see and hear. Just seeing the smiles on the children’s faces after they found the eggs says it all.

The St. Lucy Society has sponsored the Perkins Easter Egg Hunt for the past three years, funding the “beeping” eggs ($20/each) specially designed for the visually impaired.
