Zoning and Licensing Applications
3 Battery Wharf. Sweet Basil, Inc. d/b/a The Cactus Club has applied to the Licensing Board to transfer its Common Victualler 7-Day All Alcohol License with 2:00am closing to Boston Beverage Services, Inc. d/b/a Battery Wharf Hotel Boston Waterfront, 3 Battery Wharf, Boston, MA 02109.
The transferee states that the operation of the hotel, the size and scope of the licensed premises, the hours and any other conditions in place will remain exactly the same, including the current Manager of Record. It is expected that the transferee will request the Licensing Board to change the transferred license to an Innholder All Alcohol License to fit its operation as a hotel.
Anyone seeking further information should contact the attorney, Joseph H. Devlin, at 781-595-3311 or jdevlin@demakislaw.com.
Community questions include:
- whether expansion of the current number of restaurants or seats is anticipated;
- whether a community process will be initiated if such changes are proposed;
- whether the balcony space above the Museum is planned to be opened for public use, and
- whether the current practice of permitting private functions to block public access to the Harborwalk will be continued.
ZLC meetings are open to the public.
Abutters are encouraged to attend!
