NEMPAC is looking forward to celebrating Non-Profit Awareness Month of November with the North End Community this weekend! The organization is hosting an event at Boston Common Coffee, 97 Salem Street, in the North End on Saturday, November 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please join us for your morning or afternoon cup of coffee as we celebrate NEMPAC, your local neighborhood non-profit arts organization.
The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) was founded in 2001 and has been operating in the neighborhood ever since. The organization currently serves over 720 students a week through their programs including after-school classes, music theatre troupe, yoga classes, Italian Language, Private Music Instruction, and more!
NEMPAC ask patrons to support their local non-profit arts center by giving $1, $5, or $10 on Saturday. Every gift will be generously matched by Boston Common Coffee up to $500! All proceeds will benefit programming at NEMPAC. For an extra treat, NEMPAC music students will turn the coffee shoppe into a musical haven by playing their favorite music pieces on violin and guitar from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
