In this day and age, Twitter is one of the most popular, and quickest flowing sources of news. It is an interactive platform enabling people to keep up and contribute to the local buzz. Every week, I will be monitoring influential tweets related to the neighborhood, from #NorthEnd #NorthEndBoston, #BosWaterfront to #BostonWaterfront – with or without the hashtag’s.
The top five tweets will be chosen based on the relevance of the news, interesting photo, celebrity status, or simply due to high popularity of the tweet. Think your tweet has these traits? Use #NEWtoptweet and keep up with us on Twitter @NorthEndBoston and myself: @ConorFinley. (For retweets, tag @NorthEndBoston.)

The Panda is in Boston as most of you know by now. Taking him out to dinner, hopefully for some Italian on the North End. #Beantown #RedSox
