Power Outage on Sunday Night in North End

Residents on Commercial, Foster and Henchman Streets reported a power outage on Sunday night starting at approximately 9:00 pm.

Streetlights remained on but traffic signals were out and buildings went dark, according to Twitter reports.

By about 10:30 pm, power had returned. We have not seen any specific reports from NStar, other than general weather related outages in the city.

  1. I live on Foster Street and saw two fire trucks and a number of firefighters going in and out of the building opposite ours. It seemed like all the buildings around ours had power though.
