Obituary: Benjamin A. “Benny” Fuccillo of Boston’s North End

Many will remember Benny, a familiar face on Hanover Street from Martini’s Shop.

FUCCILLO, Benjamin A. “Benny,” of the North End of Boston, at 77 years of age, on Nov. 26, 2013.

Loving brother of Anna and her husband Anthony Gaeta of the North End. Loving uncle of Joseph A. and his wife Mary Gaeta of Peabody and Maria A. Gaeta also of Peabody. Grand uncle of Alexandra and Anthony. Devoted son of the late Alfred and Mary (Sarno) Fuccillo.

Late member of the St. Mark’s Society of the Sacred Heart Church and late U.S. Postal worker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston (North End), on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA. Visiting hours in the Sacred Heart Church on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 from 3 to 7 p.m. Late Veteran US Army.

  1. I remember Benny from when my father owned Martinis. He always had a smile on his face!! R I P. !!

  2. Benny was a sweetheart always smiling and helpful at martinis and when there was a card shop on salem st,,rip

  5. Uncle Benny was a true gentleman and great guy..I have so many good memories of him growing up when he worked at Martini’s..our thoughts and prayers are with the Fuccillo and Gaeta families. Foots & Joanne Saugus, MA
