City Suites Presented With Good Neighbor Recognition Award

The Good Neighbor Recognition Award for August 2013 was presented to Andy Constantine, owner of City Suites, on behalf of the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA).

The presentation was made by NEWRA President, Jim Salini, and Recognition Committee Chair, Janet Gilardi to Andy Constantine photographed with his property manager, Brittany Collins, outside the office of City Suites at 421 Hanover Street. In addition to being a longtime owner and manager of rental property in the North End, Andy rebuilt the Charter Street Park in the 1980’s and established A New Spin Laundry on Salem Street.

Andy Constantine remarked, “the key to being a ‘Good Neighbor’ is to have a staff that works as a team to sustain a clean and welcoming neighborhood for all to enjoy.”

Andy would like to recognize his staff at City Suites and A New Spin Laundry including several maintenance members whom diligently strive to maintain cleanliness in the Charter Street Park, the areas surrounding each of his rental buildings, and in the neighborhood in general. City Suites is committed to implementing the City of Boston and the North End / Waterfront’s policies for the overall benefit of our neighbors and visitors.

The monthly award is voted by NEWRA’s Executive Committee and given to local businesses and residents that consistently keep the areas around their property clean of trash and debris.
