Boston City Councilor At-Large Ayanna Pressley attended a recent North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) meeting and spoke for a few minutes to the public in attendance. She addressed her efforts to lift the State cap on alcohol licenses in the City of Boston and to encourage new restaurants in developing neighborhoods. The Councilor also spoke on her issues to empower young women and girls, including breaking the cycle of violence through workshops and self-defense classes.
