What’s Going On in the North End / Waterfront
Saturday! Santa Skate and Toy Drive by the North End Columbus Day Committee. The benefit will include complimentary ice skating, photos w/Santa, raffles, hot cocoa and holiday music from DJ Lou Strazz and the children of NEMPAC. It all happens on December 15, 2pm-4:30pm at Steriti Skating Rink on Commercial Street in the North End. Bring an unwrapped toy! See the flyer.
Also on Saturday, 10am is Piccoli Regali at Old North Parish House. See the post.
Drop by Caffe Paradiso, Hanover St. on Saturday to learn about the Italian Language program run there by John Jordan. Go downstairs for the presentation at 1:30 pm.
Then, get set for Sunday when SANTA ARRIVES BY HELICOPTER at the beginning of the annual North End Christmas Parade, 1pm, Puopolo Field, Commercial Street. (Weather permitting, otherwise will be the following Sunday.)
Also Sunday, at 11am it is the RUFF Monthly Cleanup (meet at the Prado). And at 4pm Sunday, a Christmas Concert at Sacred Heart Church in North Square.
