What’s Going On in the North End / Waterfront:
It is November 11th, Veteran’s Day. We honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States, especially veterans. The day itself was chosen as it is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which ended the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918.
Looking for the Veteran’s Day parade? It’s Sunday, 1pm, starting at Tremont St. and Boylston St., going around Boston Common to City Hall Plaza and Faneuil Hall.
Old North Church has a traditional British style Remembrance Day Ceremony at 11 am.
The USS Constitution Museum at the Navy Yard is having three days of Family Fun activities, 10-5 on Sat., Sun. and Mon. See their website.
