Thursday News & Views: Public Safety Meeting, Sacco & Vanzetti and Greenway Conservancy Video

What’s Going On Thursday, October 4, 2012:

At  6:30 pm, it is the North End Public Safety Meeting at the Nazzaro Center, 30 N. Bennet Street. It is the first meeting in two months so there should be a lot to report. Boston Police Captain Tom Lee is expected to be there with Sgt. Lema and Officer Boyle. All residents are welcome to attend. (Also, see the related neighborhood photo below.)

The North End Historical Society and Historic New England are hosting a lecture, 6pm, at the Otis House Museum on the Case of Sacco and Vanzetti. More information at NorthEndBoston.org.

What’s new on the blog:

The video of the business part of the Greenway Conservancy Annual Meeting is now posted. There were several updates and a bit of controversy. Watch it for yourself.

  2. this same list of complaints on this flyer every month is getting old. The wheelchair incident was months ago. Lets move on to other things…the increase in break-ins, the out of control underage drinking, the in your face drug dealing and drug abuse activity that has been going on for a very long time, the overcrowding from lines on Hanover St and Regina’s that force people to walk in the streets, double parking, valet parking, etc etc. Not all of the problems we have in the this neighborhood are related to loud parties and new residents.

      TIME THAT WAS ALL I HAD IN MY POSSESSION AND
      IF ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE

      THE NO. END AND POST THEM.

      I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS RIGHT ALONG AND I
      TOO, AM BORED WITH THE FLYERS, BUT EVERYTHING IS ACCURATE ON THAT FLYER.

      AND BOTH HE & I MADE COPIES TO DISTRIBUTE
      IN THE NO. END.
