The annual Patriot’s Day parade and April 18, 1775 reenactment of Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride were held today at the Prado on Hanover St. in the North End. Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz, City Councilor Sal LaMattina and Old North Church Asst. Vicar Matt Kruger were on hand for the celebration. The Northeast Italian Band also marched in the parade along with several veteran and military groups. This year’s rider from the Massachusetts National Lancers is Lt. Andrew Tobin as Paul Revere and Major James DiCarlo as Outrider. After the re-enactment, a wreath was laid at the Prado’s VFW memorial with local dignitaries. View more Patriot’s Day event posts.
