Edward G. Hakim, age 97, of Boston’s North End, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Beloved son of the late Rose (Nassin) and Thomas Hakim. Loving husband for 65 years to Madeline (Etienne) Hakim. Cherished father of Leona Morella and her husband Anthony, Simone Sudalter and her husband Melvyn, and the late Thomas Hakim. Loving grandfather of Michelle and her husband Michael Connors, Leann and her husband Andrew Perlman, Alison and her husband Matt Morello, Michael Morella, and Lindsey and her husband Dr. Adam Polivy. Great-grandfather of Leah, Elysheva, Jake, and Shoshana. Services are private.
