North End Stories Publishes Video Interview With Antonetta “Antie” Bonaffine

The latest installment from North End Stories is out! The digital narrative project interviews Antonetta “Antie” Bonaffine, lifelong resident born on Greenough Lane in the North End, 96 years ago. Antie talks about growing up in the neighborhood (60 years on Hull St.), family (7 brothers, 6 sisters), the feasts and swimming from the North End beach to the Charlestown Navy Yard in the “blessed” waters.

  1. Happy 100th Birthday to Antie! I remember when Antie worked in the penny candy store on Hanover St. She was so kind then and now. Last year we had Yoga lessons at Casa Maria.She came and did yoga swinging her legs, keeping up with everyone! After class was over i had to come home and put ice on and lie down i looked out the window and there was Antie going out shopping after yoga class!!! What an amazing women! God Bless her.
