Boston is a great city for trick-or-treating and kids in the downtown neighborhoods make a killing! That is the result from the 2011 Zillow Trick-or-Treat Index.
According to this year’s index, Boston ranked second among the 20 best U.S. cities for the Halloween ritual. This is a significant improvement from last year when Boston was eighth on the list. San Francisco was ranked #1. (See graphic below and full results here.)
Within Boston, the North End neighborhood ranked 3rd among the best areas for trick-or-treating. Beacon Hill took the top spot followed by Back Bay. Rounding out the top five are the South End and Kenmore. Click here for neighborhood results.
