Celebration of Fr. Claude Scrima’s 50th Anniversary
of Ordination to the Priesthood

Fr. Claude Scrima, O.F.M., Parochial Vicar of St. Leonard’s Church in the North End of Boston and former Latin and Italian teacher at Christopher Columbus High School in the North End was ordained a priest in Wappingers Falls, NY on May 20th, 1961.  This year marks the 50th anniversary of his ordination.  The entire community is invited to the jubilation at the solemn liturgy of thanksgiving that will be offered at St. Leonard’s Church on May 21st, 2011, at the 5 p.m. Mass.  The liturgy will be followed by light refreshment in the church hall to which all are invited to participate.

Fr. Claude is very well loved and respected in our community, and has given many years of service to the neighborhood’s families and youth as a pastor and teacher.
