Once again the North End Friends of Saint Francis Homeless Shelter will be having our Annual Flea Market and Bake Sale! We need donations of all kinds of household goodies for our flea market. So it is time to start your spring cleaning and HELP US HELP THE HOMELESS.
We will be looking for: Books, cd’s , dvd’s, knick-knacks, jewelry, pots, pans, dishes, cups, silverware, collectibles, small end tables, magazine racks, toys, games, video games and various other items. NO CLOTHES PLEASE!
You can drop off items at the Nazzaro Center starting on Monday April 4 through Thursday April 7th. The Center is open from 7am to 9pm each day.
WE WILL ALSO BE COLLECTING SPARE CHANGE – save your change from now until the event and you will be surprised at how much pennies/nickels and dimes add up.
The event will be on Friday April 8th from 9am to 6pm and also on Saturday April 9th from 9am to 1pm. We will also have Momma Romano’s Famous Eggplant Sandwiches, meatball sandwiches and sausage sandwiches. Also all kinds of baked goods homemade and from neighborhood bakeries.
Thank you in advance for your help. Last year we raised just about $8000 and an anonymous donor matched it – we want to top that amount this year!
