Universal Hub reports from this week’s Licensing Board hearing regarding two unused licenses, one of which is a retail package store license for the short-lived Nonna’s on North Street:
“The board agreed to give the owners of the shuttered Nonna’s Market on North Street in the North End 90 days to find an investor and re-open their shop, which has a beer and wine license, in another location. Unlike 45 Province, Nonna’s had been open for business until last month.”
The board declined to give the downtown development, 45 Province, an extension citing the extended period that the license has not been utilized and the need for liquor licenses elsewhere. The board currently has no other licenses available to grant.
