The North End Chamber of Commerce (NECC) has announced that Frank DePasquale will return as President of the organization, transitioning the role from Joanne Prevost Anzalone, effective July 1, 2010. The announcement follows a well-attended breakfast at Cafe Pompeii earlier this week, featuring Mayor Tom Menino as guest speaker.
“Frank DePasquale now has more time to be able to handle the day-to-day demands of the Chamber,” Anzalone said in the announcement. “Be assured that I remain committed to the North End community and will be available to help at all times.”
The new NECC address is 256 Hanover Street and contacts should be made to Nicole Russo at 617-646-1064 or nrusso@o’neillhospitality.com. The Chamber maintains a website at www.NorthEndChamberOfCommerce.com.
Joanne Provost Anzalone operates Anzalone Realty on Hanover Street and owns several other properties in the North End/Waterfront area.
Frank DePasquale is owner of DePasquale Ventures which operates North End restaurants Bricco, Mare, Trattoria il Panino, Express as well as the Gelateria and DePasquale’s Homemade Pasta Shoppe. Outside the neighborhood, the business includes Umbria Prime, Ocean Club at Marina Bay, Splash and Scene Boston Magazine.
